LITTLETON – Branch Automotive didn’t open a new shop, but it’s pretty close to it.
Branch Automotive owner Parker Branch announced the shop’s expansion is complete.
The new building, which is just across the parking lot from Branch Automotive’s current location at 6030 E County Line Rd., enabled the shop to expand from eight bays to 14. The additional building features new lifts, a new compressor, new airlines, and new floors and doors.
“We’ve expanded as much as we’ve needed to keep up with our customers’ demands,” Branch said, noting he started the business ‘with a wrench in one hand and a phone in the other.’ “It wasn’t necessarily a vision at that time, it was survival.” “Now we’re 14 people and two buildings strong, which is all driven by our customers’ needs.”
Parker Branch said the additional building will also allow for a better focus on tires, with Branch noting the shop’s tire machines are in the process of being moved into the new space.
“We always could do tires,” he said. “We haven’t pursued that very much because our space limitations in the original building make it pretty difficult to do tires efficiently. When we move (the equipment) over there, that gives us more space, makes it more comfortable for the technicians, and we’re hoping that we can pay a little better attention to our customers’ tire needs and service some of that.”

Parker Branch said three of Branch Automotive’s technicians have moved to the new building, and the shop is looking to add two more (light-duty diesel with Ford experience is a plus).
Branch Automotive general manager Danial Ruthstrom said the shop’s expansion will help in many areas, including allowing for increased capacity for services like oil change services, fuel filters, and other maintenance services.
“More bays and more technicians mean decreased timeframes,” Ruthstrom said. “More technicians means a larger pool of knowledge to access. More capacity for the smaller maintenance items, rather than being lumped in with larger repairs. We will now have the ability to efficiently service tires and become a more complete truck service center.”
